A nice cuppa card

March 1, 2016

This birthday card uses the Have a Cuppa suite of products. The stamp set and matching framelits are a bundle, saving you 15% when you buy them together.

I took the lazy way for the design and pinched the colour combo from the suite 🙂

The card base is an A6 portrait of Wisteria Wonder, matted with two panels of Have a Cuppa DSP and a very narrow strip of Melon Mambo card adhered over the join. After stamping the large cup from A Nice Cuppa onto Whisper White card with Melon Mambo ink, it was die cut out with the matching Cups & Kettle framelit. The heart of steam was die cut from Melon Mambo card and this and the trim on the cup were painted with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush. A sentiment from the set was stamped onto the tea cup with Bermuda Bay ink. Two more cups and trim were die cut from further patterns of the DSP and Melon Mambo card and one of the teacups was covered with Crystal Effects. After stamping the teabag onto Vellum card it was die cut out, Linen Thread was stapled to the teabag and it was hung over the stamped tea cup. All the tea cups were popped up on dimensionals on the card front and the heart of steam was adhered direct.

On the Whisper White insert, a pair of sentiments from the free SAB set, Perfect Pairings, was stamped in Melon Mambo ink.

There is also a set of charm embellishments that go with this suite – they’re so cute!
