Today’s card is all about celebrating with balloons galore. Balloons in the DSP and balloons popped up on the front.

It has a mix of retiring and carrying forward products. The balloon stamps and matching punch will be available on the new catty out 1 June but they won’t be bundled, so it’s worth getting them now to save 15% on the duo.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Mint Macaron, matted with Birthday Bouquet DSP (retiring). A panel of Whisper White was stamped with a sentiment from the Bravo set (retiring) in Mint Macaron and stars from the Balloon Celebration set added in Pool Party. This panel was adhered direct to the card front and edged with slivers of Pool Party. Solid balloons from the same set were stamped in Mint Macaron, overstamped with the spotty shadows in Pool Party and punched out with the Balloon Bouquet punch. After giving them some glitz with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush and bows of Silver Metallic Thread, they were popped up on the card front with dimensionals.

On the Whisper White insert another sentiment from the Bravo set (snipped apart) and the balloon and string from the Balloon Celebration set were stamped in Mint Macaron.  A bow was added in Pool Party and a strip of Birthday Bouquet DSP across the top.

Why the DSP? Well, it was to cover a boo-boo! I’d been lazy and used a large block that was to hand, instead of the right sized one and I caught the edge in ink which transferred to the insert. Oops!
