If you’re a regular reader then you may know that I’ve recently been taking my first year Acupuncture exams. My hubby has been really supportive throughout, including helping test me and making sure that I eat! So I made him this card (to go along with a little gift) to thank him.
The card base is an A6 portrait gatefold of Basic Black, matted on each side with Pop of Pink Specialty DSP. Layering Squares framelits were used to die cut square frames from Basic Black, Melon Mambo and Whisper White card. A sentiment from Sweet Stack was stamped onto the small white square with Basic Black ink and again onto a scrap of Whisper White with Melon Mambo ink. The Hugs and Kisses portion was trimmed down and popped up over the original with a sliver of dimensional. The square and the frames were then popped up on the gatefold front ensuring that dimensionals were only added to the backs where they attached to the card front. They then fold together (but gently, they’re quite thin and fragile).
On the Whisper White insert I stamped two more sentiments from Sweet Stack in Melon Mambo ink.
It’s nice to let those you love know how much you appreciate them 🙂
