2017 In Color Thank You cards



Whenever we get a new set of In Colors I like to make a set of cards, all identical, just switching out the In Color. It helps me get to know the new shades and start to plan what I might mix them with in the future. Here’s the full set of new In Colors:

Tranquil Tide
Powder Pink
Lemon Lime Twist
Berry Burst
Fresh Fig

I think that all these In Colors look great teamed with Smokey Slate. What do you think?

This new set of In Colors will be with us until 2019.

The card base is an A6 of Smokey Slate. A panel of In Color card was partially embossed with the Garden Trellis. A wide strip of Fresh Florals DSP was adhered to the non embossed portion of the card layer and a narrow strip of Whisper White card was adhered to the edge of the DSP before adhering the card layer direct to the card front. Two dies from the Eastern Medallions Thinlits were used to cut a medallion from In Color card and then the largest Layering Circle was used to cut out the medallion entirely. Another circle of the same size was cut from Smokey Slate and the two circles adhered together before popping up on dimensionals on the card front. In Color ink was used to stamp the sentiment and a circle motif from the Eastern Beauty stamp set onto Whisper White card and punched out with the 1-1/4″ Circle before popping it up in the centre of the layered medallions on the card front.
