Today’s card uses up some leftovers. Don’t you just love it when you can recycle your throwaway pieces?
When we made this card, we kept hold of the Copper Foil pieces out of the centre.
Today we’ve used them to make this card, using the negative of the design.
The card base is an A6 portrait of Basic Black, matted with a layer of Basic Black that had first been run through the Big Shot with the Hexagons TIEF. The largest Layering Circle was die cut from Basic Black card which had first been covered with a piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet. A circular frame was die cut from Basic Black card with two of the Layering Circles. After peeling away the backing from the Adhesive Sheet the frame was stuck in place. The negative of the Lovely Words, die cut from Copper Foil (including the centres of any individual letters) was positioned in the centre of the circles and then Silver Stampin’ Glitter was rubbed into any remaining exposed adhesive. The glittered circles were popped up on the card front with dimensionals.
On the Whisper White insert, a sentiment from Window Shopping was stamped in Basic Black ink.
Thanks for stopping by.
