The Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set is part of a bundle that comes with the Happy Birthday Thinlits, but of course you can use (and buy) just the stamp set on its own. For this birthday card we’ve teamed it with the Birthday Bouquet punch which is also part of the same Foil Frenzy suite of products.
For our colour combo today we’ve mixed two of the new In Colors with two of our core colours. I do think that Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist go together very well. What do you think of the combination?
The card base is a 5″ square of Sahara Sand, matted with layers of Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist. Using matching inks, the spotty balloon and the sentiment balloon from Happy Birthday Gorgeous were stamped onto Tranquil Tide, Sahara Sand, Lemon Lime Twist and Pool Party card and punched out with the Balloon Bouquet. Strands of Silver Metallic Thread were adhered behind each balloon. Three of the balloons were adhered direct to a square of Whisper White card and any overhanging areas trimmed away. Another three balloons were popped up on dimensionals and the threads gathered and adhered to the card front. Tranquil Tide ink was used to stamp a sentiment from the same set onto a panel of Whisper White. Outline flowers were added in Pool Party ink and then the solid ones added with Lemon Lime Twist ink. After matting the sentiment onto Sahara Sand card, Silver Metallic Thread was wrapped around the panel and secured behind, positioning in line with the threads from the balloons before popping the panel up on dimensionals on the card front. Metallic Silver Thread was tied in a bow around the sentiment balloon in Sahara Sand and a further thread left hanging down before popping the balloon up on a dimensional on the card front.
On the Whisper White insert, the sentiment, outline balloon and threads were stamped in Tranquil Tide and the spotty balloon added over the top in Pool Party ink.
