I think that stars work well for masculine cards. What do you think?
I’m also making more of an effort not to hoard my supplies so much this year. Did you notice that I’d had my Fancy Foil Designer Acetate for a year before using it? So I’m making an effort to break out the Hearts & Stars Elements and not just “save them for best”. With 72 pieces in a pack, I can afford to use them more often, so I decided to make a bit of a feature of the star motif and realised that there are a few of them in the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit set.
The card base is an A6 portrait of Soft Sky, matted with Sahara Sand and more Soft Sky. A card front layer of Fresh Fig was die cut top and bottom with the line of stars from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit set and with the large star, positioned a little to the right lower half of the layer. This layer was popped up on mini dimensionals as they’re small enough to get between the small stars. Four different size stars from the Hearts & Stars Elements pack were adhered to the card front with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. Using Fresh Fig ink, a sentiment from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous set was stamped separately onto two teeny strips of Sahara Sand which were then popped up on the card front at angles, using mini dimensionals.
On the Sahara Sand insert, another sentiment from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous set was stamped in Fresh Fig ink and then a frame stamped around it.
Have a great weekend.
