Today is my in-laws wedding anniversary and so of course, a card was in order.
The Wood Textures DSP is ideal for die cutting the chairs from and there are so many different shades of wood to choose from, you’re bound to find one that works with your background.
The card base is an A6 landscape of Pool Party, matted with Soft Suede. On a layer of Shimmery White card a wash of Crumb Cake, Pool Party and Soft Sky inks were added with an Aquapainter and allowed to dry. A sentiment from Number of Years was stamped across the top of the painted background with Soft Suede ink. Three lawn chairs were die cut from Wood Textures DSP with Seasonal Layers Thinlits and one of them trimmed to create a table before adhering all three direct to the card front. The glass from Colorful Seasons was stamped twice onto scraps of Whisper White card with Calypso Coral and die cut out with the co-ordinating framelits and two limes were stamped with Lemon Lime Twist ink and also die cut out. These were adhered direct to the card front, on top of the table. Shadows were added below the chairs and table with Smokey Slate and the Aquapainter.
On the Whisper White insert, a sentiment from Happy Birthday Gorgeous was added in Soft Suede ink.
The table just has the upper portion of the chair cut away.
