Over the last four days I’ve been sharing a series of notecards designed as a set.
Today I have a simple idea for “packaging” them, by wrapping them with a belly band, turning them into a gift.
The same stamp set and paper stack that were used for the card set have been used to create the belly band. The stamp set has 15% off until 10 October and the paper stack is in the Buy 3 Get 1 Free Sale.
A sentiment from Colorful Seasons was stamped onto a panel of one the paler Crushed Curry Color Theory DSP patterns with Early Espresso ink. Two flowers from the same set were stamped above and below the sentiment using Crushed Curry ink. Stamens were added to the centres of the flowers with Early Espresso ink which was first stamped off onto scrap paper, to provide a paler look. The finished stamped panel was then matted onto a larger panel of a dark Color Theory DSP of the same pattern. A 1″ strip of the darker Color Theory DSP was matted with a 3/4″ strip of the lighter one. This was done twice and the two strips overlapped and adhered to create a long strip. This long strip was wrapped around the pack of finished notecards and envelopes and adhered in place. The stamped panel was popped up over the centre of the belly band with dimensionals.
This completed set makes a great gift for a friend.
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great weekend.
