Today is #WorldCardMakingDay
A day to celebrate the creative artist inside all of us and make a handmade card.
It doesn’t have to be complicated or take many supplies. Simple cards can look stylishly elegant. This card uses one stamp set, one coloured card, one neutral card, one ink, one paper pack and one ribbon.
The card base is an A6 landscape of Garden Green, matted with Painted Autumn DSP. A large panel of Garden Green was matted with another pattern from the same pack of Painted Autumn DSP. A piece of Burlap Ribbon was trimmed lengthways to make it narrower and wrapped around the panel and secured on the reverse. Another piece of Burlap Ribbon, trimmed to match, was tied onto the first in a knot before adhering the panel to the card front. A sentiment from Window Shopping was stamped in Garden Green ink onto Very Vanilla. This was then matted onto Garden Green card and popped up on the card front with dimensionals.
On the Very Vanilla insert, another sentiment and dinky cupcake from the same set were stamped in Garden Green ink.
The paper used in the project above is part of our Designer Series Paper sale.

Have fun card making on our special day 🙂
Please note that my post tomorrow will be published late (11pm). I’m taking part in the 2nd annual pink blog hop in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. As this is a global blog hop we have to find a time that will work for everyone but if you’re not a night owl you can always catch up with us on Monday morning.
Thanks for stopping by.
