I’m back now from the Stampin’ Up! On Stage event and bursting with news … which I’m not allowed to share with you until tomorrow night after 9pm! To be fair – that’s to make sure that we don’t spoil surprises for demonstrators in other time zones 🙂
So for now I’ll share one of the designs I made for my swaps. All my swaps were Christmas cards or treats just in case I brought any back with me, they’d come in handy for my own Christmas giving. I needn’t have worried. I took around 56 swaps with me and was all swapped out before the first session started!
Apologies for the photo quality. I should have realised that white on white could be a problem and should have photographed against a black background. The white on white with spots of silver is really elegant though IRL.
The card base is a small 4″ square of Thick Whisper White card. A smaller card front layer of the same card was stamped in Versamark ink with a sentiment from Merry Mistletoe and heat embossed with Silver EP. The 2″ Circle was punched from the bottom right hand corner before popping the layer up on the card front with dimensionals. A large snowflake and the tiny “lemon slice” circle from the Seasonal Layer thinlits were die cut from Silver Foil and popped up in the negative circle space with a mini dimensional (the “lemon slice” circle hides the mini dimensional). The snowflake was then finished with a Basic Rhinestone in the centre.
On the inside of the card another sentiment and a bough from the same Merry Mistletoe set were stamped in Smoky Slate.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Thanks for stopping by.
Come back soon for the exciting news I have to share!
