Our Spring/Summer catalogue and Sale-a-bration launch on 3 January and so I’m sharing some sneak peeks to give you an idea of the goodies to come 🙂

The stamp set is one we got for free at the Stampin’ Up! convention in November – it’s called Picture Perfect Birthday and it’s part of a larger suite that includes DSP (also used here) and various embellishments and tools.

The colour combo is a small selection taken from the DSP; Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Berry Burst.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Bermuda Bay, matted with Pool Party card and then Picture Perfect Party DSP. A sentiment from Picture Perfect Birthday was stamped in Berry Burst ink on a panel of Whisper White card. Two base candles from the same set were stamped above the sentiment in Pool Party ink and then overstamped with the spotted pattern in Bermuda Bay ink. A third candle was stamped in the centre in Berry Burst ink (after stampin off once first for a lighter shade), this was then overstamped with the striped pattern in full strength Berry Burst ink. Flames were added with Daffodil Delight ink before matting the panel onto Pool Party and then popping it up on the card front with dimensionals.

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from the set was stamped in Berry Burst ink. A “candle” was stamped below it in Pool Party ink to create the body of the party blower. Stripes were added with Bermuda Bay ink and a frill with Berry Burst. Finally the blower was stamped in Pool Party ink.

Easy and quick and could be made with many of the patterns of paper in the pack.
