Our Spring/Summer catalogue and Sale-a-bration launch tomorrow! And so here’s a last sneak peek to give you an idea of the goodies to come.

This valentine’s day card mixes the gorgeous Painted with Love Specialty DSP (gold foil accents on one side, brushstroke imagery on the other – but I can’t get past the gold foil, lol) and the Heart Happiness stamp set.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Calypso Coral, matted with a large panel of Painted with Love Specialty DSP and a strip of Gold Foil. Using Rich Razzleberry ink, a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments was stamped in the lower right corner. After stamping the outline heart from Heart Happiness onto Whisper White card with Tuxedo Memento Black ink, it was first coloured with Stampin’ Blends in Dark Ruch Razzleberry, Dark Calypso Coral and Dark Pink Pirouette before die cutting out with the Sweet & Sassy framelits. A Layering Circle was die cut from Rich Razzleberry card and the circle and heart adhered direct and then popped up on the card front with dimensionals. A Calypso Coral heart from the Subtles Enamel Shapes was added to finish.

On the Whisper White insert, the striped heart from Heart Happiness was stamped in Calypso Coral ink. A row of hearts from the same set was stamped over the striped heart with Rich Razzleberry ink. Groups of mini hearts were added to opposite corners using Rich Razzleberry ink but stamping off first to create a lighter shade. Finally a sentiment from the Sale-a-bration set, Party Pandas, was added using Rich Razzleberry ink.

It’s difficult to show the gold foiling when photographing the card straight on, but hopefully this angle gives a better idea of how glamorous it looks.
