Although the Heart Happiness stamp set (£15 – pp. 20 of the Spring/Summer catalogue) is perfect for Valentine’s Day it can easily be used for other occasions too.
Here we’ve used it together with the Petal Palette bundle and the Bubbles & Fizz DSP (free with a £45 purchase during Sale-a-bration), to create a pretty birthday card.
The card base is an A6 portrait of Daffodil Delight card, matted with Bubbles & Fizz DSP. Using Tuxedo Black Memento ink, the flowered heart from Heart Happiness was stamped onto Whisper White card once and the single flower was stamped four times. These were coloured with Stampin’ Blends (see product list below for colours used). The heart was die cut out with the Sweet and Sassy framelits and the flowers were fussy cut out. After adhering looped Old Olive Sheer Ribbon behind the heart, it was popped up on the card front with dimensionals. The flowers were popped up in the corners with mini dimensionals. A sentiment from the Petal Palette set was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Whisper White card, die cut out with the co-ordinating Petals & More thinlit and popped up on the card front with dimensionals.
On the Whisper White insert, the flower and leaf from Heart Happiness were alternately stamped in Daffodil Delight ink, to create a border.
Thanks for stopping by.
