Today I’m back again with another card using the Sale-a-bration set – Happy Wishes – free with a £90 purchase. Yes, it’s a higher price point but you get a lot of great stamps with this set.
I decided to use heat embossing with Silver EP and so I teamed it with the Sweet Soiree Specialty DSP. Each sheet has Silver foil on one side of it, so it was a perfect pairing.
The card base is an A6 landscape of Calypso Coral. A card front layer of Sweet Soiree Specialty DSP had Calypso Coral 1/8″ Sheer Ribbon wrapped across the upper left corner and adhered behind it, before adhering the layer direct to the card front. A teeny bow of the same ribbon was added to the centre of the wrapped ribbon with a Mini Glue Dot. Using Versamark ink, one of the large sentiments from Happy Wishes was stamped onto a panel of Whisper White card, covered with Silver EP and heat embossed. Small sentiments from the same set were stamped above and below with Calypso Coral ink to complete the message. A Blender Pen was used to lift ink from the lid of the Calypso Coral inkpad and colour the flowers in the heat embossed sentiment. The panel was matted onto Silver Foil and popped up on the card front with dimensionals.
On the Whisper White insert, another large and small sentiment from the same set were stamped in Calypso Coral ink.
