Springtime Foils card

February 28, 2018

Hope that the Beast from the East isn’t hitting you too hard. And apologies for the short absence. I’ve restarted my (last batch of) acupuncture clinic days (though I didn’t get there yesterday due to the snow) as well as having assignment deadlines, so sometimes I can’t quite keep up with my crafting. There’s light at the end of the tunnel though – all being well I should finish my acupuncture degree course this May!

Today I made time to make a quick any occasion card with my new Springtime Foil Specialty DSP, one of the new Sale-a-bration freebies, released just a couple of weeks ago.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Powder Pink. A card front layer of Springtime Foil Specialty DSP was wrapped with Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon, tied in a knot, before adhering it direct to the card front. Using the Layering Circles framelits, two different sizes of circles were die cut from Copper Foil and another pattern of Springtime Foil Specialty DSP and the two layered with dimensionals between. Some Copper Metallic Thread was looped and adhered behind the circles before they were popped up on the card front with more dimensionals.

The Whisper White insert was simply decorated with a strip of the same Springtime Foil Specialty DSP used for the circle on the front.

This is a handy style of card to have in your card box when you just want to send a message to let someone know you’re thinking of them.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
