The minimal colour scheme used for this birthday card is lifted with texture, a little lace and some gemstones.
The texture was a little difficult to photograph but can be seen better in the pic below.
The card base is an A6 portrait of Grapefruit Grove. A card front layer of more Grapefruit Grove was run through the Big Shot, centred within the Lovely Floral embossing folder and then each corner was embossed, taking care to minimise any flattening of the areas already embossed. This layer was popped up on the card front. A sentiment from the Stitched All Around was stamped onto Very Vanilla card with Grapefruit Grove ink and then die cut out with the lacy long panel die from the matching Stitched Labels framelits. After popping this up on the card front with dimensionals it was finished with a few Faceted Dots.
On the Very Vanilla insert, another sentiment and a border from the same Stitched All Around set were stamped in Grapefruit Grove ink.
