Today’s card is a birthday card but could easily be a wedding card with a simple change of insert.
It uses the Share What You Love Specialty DSP which has a beautiful pearlised finish to it. Can you see the flowers shimmering here?
It also uses the Cake Soiree stamp set and Sweet Cake framelits.
The card base is an A6 portrait of So Saffron, matted with Share What You Love DSP. Sweet Cake framelits were used to die cut the cake stand and bow from Silver Foil. After stamping the cake from the Cake Soiree set onto Whisper White card with Black Stazon, it was coloured with So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride markers, before die cutting out with the co-ordinating framelit. The cake, stand and bow were assembled and popped up on the card front with dimensionals. Black Stazon was used to stamp a sentiment from the set onto Whisper White card which was trimmed to a banner and popped up above the cake.
On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from the same Cake Soiree set was stamped in Black Stazon and then flowers and leaves added with So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz inks, masking the larger flower to create dimension.
Thanks for stopping by.
