Cross-stitched Christmas gift tag

September 11, 2018

It’s just 15 weeks to Christmas and so once each week on the run-up, I plan to share a Christmas tag or other type of gift packaging – that way I’ll be well prepared when the big day comes around 🙂

Don’t forget though that each of these ideas could be recycled for gift tags and packaging for birthdays and weddings just by switching a stamp set or sentiment.

This tag is to match the card here and so the colour combo is Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and metallic Copper.

The tag is a 4″ long piece of Whisper White that is just a hair under 2″ wide so that it slides easily into the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. The bauble from Cross-Stitched Christmas was stamped in Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana inks and then the decorative centre, bauble top (both are a single stamp) and hanger were stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Copper EP. Strips of Bermuda Bay and Copper Foil were added direct to the base of the tag. Pool Party Shimmer Ribbon was threaded through the top of the tag and then tied in place with Copper Trim which was spread out to show the netting.

On the reverse of the tag a To/From sentiment from the Labels to Love set was stamped in Bermuda Bay.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
