Santa’s Workshop DSP Christmas card

September 13, 2018

Some more of my Christmas goodies arrived today! I’d overlooked this DSP the first time around and then found it is has flocking! So cute!

The pack of DSP has 12 sheets: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs and there’s white flocking on one side of four of the designs.

The piece I used here doesn’t actually have flocking but it’s still cute and I couldn’t resist it to make this quick little card.

The colour combo is taken from the DSP colours and is Garden Green, Poppy Parade and Whisper White.

The card base is a small square of Garden Green. A small square of Whisper White was stamped with a sentiment from Signs of Santa in Garden Green ink. After adhering a strip of the elves design of Santa’s Workshop Specialty DSP below the sentiment, skinny strips of the reverse side of the DSP were adhered above and below. Trees from the Santa’s Workshop Enamel Shapes were added to finish before matting the layer onto Poppy Parade card and then direct to the card front.

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from Signs of Santa was stamped in Garden Green. Sentiments from Merry Christmas To All were added below and then a single elf snipped from the DSP and matted onto Poppy Parade card was adhered direct to the corner to finish.

Thanks for stopping by.
