Frosted Floral DSP Anniversary card

September 14, 2018

Still playing with new DSP, the other pack that arrived yesterday was the Frosted Floral Specialty DSP, all printed on shimmery white papered – totally gorgeous and I can’t do it justice in my photos, it’s like a delicate satin.

The shimmery tones make it ideal for special occasions year round and so it was perfect for this anniversary card.

The colour combo is taken from just a selection of the DSP colours and is Mint Macaron, Blackberry Bliss and a splash of Night of Navy.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Mint Macaron, matted with Blackberry Bliss. A card front layer of Frosted Floral Specialty DSP was cut vertically and one piece flipped over to show the pattern on the reverse. Both pieces were adhered direct to the card front and a skinny strip of Blackberry Bliss used to cover the join. A Stitched Label framelit was die cut from Whisper White card and using Blackberry Bliss ink, a sentiment was constructed from the letters in the Make a Difference set. Leaves from the set were stamped on either side using Blackberry Bliss ink at full strength and Night of Navy ink, stamped off first for a paler look. The label was popped up on the card front with dimensionals and Faceted Dots added to the lower right corner to finish.

On the Whisper White insert, flowers from the Make a Difference set were stamped in each corner with Blackberry Bliss ink.

Hope you have a great weekend (I plan to use mine to find my missing DSP 🙂 ).

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
