Santa’s Workshop snowman card

September 17, 2018

I’m still cutting into my flocked Santa’s Workshop Specialty DSP – part of my aim to use my DSP instead of simply stroking it.

This time I’ve picked the juggling snowman design.

The colour combo is pulled from the DSP and is Whisper White, Coastal Cabana and Poppy Parade.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Coastal Cabana. A card front layer of Whisper White was run through the Big Shot using the Softly Falling embossing folder and adhered direct to the card front. A Layering Oval was used to die cut the juggling snowman from the Santa’s Workshop Specialty DSP and this was adhered direct to a Stitched Shape oval die cut from Coastal Cabana card before popping both up on the card front with dimensionals. Stazon Black ink was used to stamp the snow signpost from the Signs of Santa set and to add the words North Pole from the same set. After die cutting out the sign with the matching Santa’s Signpost framelit it was coloured with Poppy Parade, Coastal Cabana and Smoky Slate markers before popping up on the card front with more dimensionals. Snowflakes were die cut from Whisper White card (see insert) and adhered direct to the ovals to cover parts of the design creeping in from other images.

The Whisper White insert had snowflakes die cut from it using the Santa’s Signpost framelits before stamping a sentiment from Merry Christmas To All in Coastal Cabana ink.

Thanks for stopping by.
