Dashing Along DSP (free when you host a qualifying workshop by end of September) is used as the background for today’s Merry and Bright Christmas card.
The stars from the DSP on the front are echoed by the stamped stars on the insert.
The traditional colour combo of Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler is given a little lift of glitz with metallic Copper. Although the ribbon used is actually Merry Merlot rather than Cherry Cobbler, because we’re using the Copper side, it still works alongside this combo – that’s the beauty of this reversible ribbon.
The card base is an A6 portrait of Cherry Cobbler card. A layer of Dashing Along DSP was adhered direct to Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper and then the layers wrapped with Merry Merlot & Copper Reversible Ribbon, adhered direct to the card front and finished with a bow of the same ribbon. A Tailored Tag of Cherry Cobbler was stamped in Versamark with a sentiment from Making Christmas Bright and then heat embossed with Copper EP before popping up on the card front with dimensionals. Merry and bright lightbulbs from the same set were stamped onto Whisper White card with Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green inks, punched out with the matching Christmas Bulb builder punch and popped up along the base of the sentiment with more dimensionals.
The Whisper White insert was stamped with a sentiment from the set in Cherry Cobbler ink and decorated with different stars from the same set in Garden Green ink.
Thanks for stopping by.
