A bright mix of colours today for a cheery birthday card. The Varied Vases stamp set and the Vases Builder punch can be bought as a bundle – saving 10% 🙂
Lots of texture is added to the card using the Stitched Label framelits (one of my absolute favourites!).
The colour combo is Mango Melody, Lovely Lipstick and Shaded Spruce.
The card base is an A6 portrait of Mango Melody, matted with Lovely Lipstick card. A card front layer of Garden Impressions DSP was textured with the Stitched Labels framelits before adhering it direct to the card front. The same set of framelits was used to die cut an ornate label from Whisper White card. Using Lovely Lipstick ink a sentiment from the Varied Vases set was stamped direct ti the label and a vase was stamped onto a scrap of Whisper White. Leaves from the set were stamped with Shaded Spruce ink and small solid flowers stamped with Mango Melody ink allowed to dry and then overstepped with the small outline flower with Lovely Lipstick ink, all onto scraps of Whisper White card. The Vases Builder was used to punch all the elements out and then they were added to the label with mini dimensionals and the label itself popped up on the card front with standard dimensionals.
On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from Varied Vases was stamped in Lovely Lipstick ink. Solid flowers from the set were stamped in Mango Melody ink, allowed to dry and then overstepped with the matching flower outline using Lovely Lipstick ink. Shaded Spruce ink was used to add small leaves, stampin off the solid leaves first and then stamping the outline over the top at full strength. Cross stitch borders were added to the edges using Stitched Labels framelits.
