Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

Snow is Glistening simply stamped

November 6, 2018

Today’s card uses a stamp set from this month’s exclusive product suite – Snow is Glistening.

Sorry about the colours, they seem to have come out a little strong – this is actually Highland Heather but looks more like Gorgeous Grape. I’ll work on it!

The card base is a small square of Highland Heather. A (slightly) smaller square of Whisper White was stamped with the snowfall stamp from Snow is Glistening, four times (two downwards and two upwards) using Highland Heather ink. A small panel of Highland Heather card was then adhered across the white space between the stamping. A sentiment (I cut my sentiment apart from a longer message) and tiny snowflakes from the same set were stamped onto a strip of Vellum with Versamark ink and heat embossed with White EP. The stamped vellum strip was wrapped around the Highland Heather panel and adhered on the reverse before popping the whole layer up on the card front with dimensionals.

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from the set was stamped in Highland Heather ink. Borders were stamped using the the little flurry of snowflakes, inking with Highland Heather and then stamping off first each time before stamping down each side, rotating the stamp around.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
