We invited our neighbours round for drinks and nibbles this weekend and so of course I needed to create some hand crafted invitations.
The Half Full stamp set was ideal for the purpose with a perfect sentiment as well as images.
The colour combo used was Merry Merlot, Gray Granite and Tranquil Tide, with just a dash of metallic Copper.
The card base is an A6 portrait of Merry Merlot, matted with Joyous Noel DSP (sorry – sold out). A card front panel of Shimmery White was stamped with a sentiment and two images from the Half Full set using Stazon Black ink. An Aquapainter was used to watercolour the wine glass with Merry Merlot ink and the bottle with Tranquil Tide ink. Bright Copper Shimmer Paint was used for the bottle’s foil and then a little Gray Granite ink was watercolored to “ground” the bottle and glass. After mating the panel onto Merry Merlot card it was popped up on the card front with dimensionals.
