Needlepoint Nook – sneak peek

December 28, 2018

I have another suite of products to share with you via a sneak peek today – Needlepoint Nook.

Needlepoint Nook thank you card

We got to play with/road test this suite of products at the Stampin’ Up! convention, Onstage Local, back in November. The next Onstage Local will be in Telford on 13 April. Bookings open 15 January but often sell out that same day. If you’d like to come along then email me to find out how.

Colour combination mixing Blushing Bride, Berry Burst and Old Olive from Stampin' Up!

The colour combo is Blushing Bride, Berry Burst and Old Olive.

Needlepoint Nook thank you card

The card base is an A6 portrait of Thick Whisper White, stamped with the stitched borders from the Needle & Thread set using Berry Burst ink. A panel of Needlepoint Nook DSP was adhered direct to the card front at an angle. A smaller panel of Blushing Bride card was die cut with the stitched design from the co-ordinating Needlepoint Elements framelits (save 10% buying the stamps and framelits as a bundle) and popped up on the card front with dimensionals. A sentiment from the set was stamped onto a strip of Whisper White card with Berry Burst ink and popped up with more dimensionals. More Berry Burst ink was used to stamp the trio of stitched flowers from the set onto Whisper White card and these were then die cut out with the matching framelit before popping up on the card front. Share What You Love Artisan Pearls were used to finish two of the flowers and a tiny bow of Old Olive Linen Thread was used to finish the third.

Insert using Needle & Thread stamp set.

Although we don’t stamp the insides of the cards at convention I finished this one off at home. Berry Burst ink was used to stamp a thank you sentiment from the Needle & Thread set and then the stitched design from the same set was stamped above and below the sentiment, using the same ink but stamping off once each time for a paler colour.

Thanks for stopping by.

Have a great weekend.

Sara xx
