The Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder emboss that little bit deeper than a regular embossing folder and the new Lace folder is just gorgeous (better pic of it further down), though it’s easy to miss it in the bottom corner on page 11 of the catty.
Of course you can use the embossed side or the debossed side – whichever takes your fancy. Here a little Lovely Lipstick Foil (SAB freebie) frames the embossed panel and adds a bit of glitz.
The colour combination is Petal Pink, Lovely Lipstick and Pear Pizzazz.
The card base is an A6 portrait of Petal Pink. A panel of Petal Pink card was run through the Lace embossing folder and adhered direct to the centre of the card front. Thin strips of Lovely Lipstick Foil were adhered on either side of the embossed panel. Using the Wonderful Floral framelits, an oval was die cut from Whisper White card and using Lovely Lipstick ink, a sentiment from the Forever Lovely set was stamped in the centre. Leaves were die cut from Pear Pizzazz card using the same set of framelits and one of the leaves snipped away and adhered to the front of the sentiment, whilst the others were adhered behind. A trio of tiny flowers were die cut from a scrap of Lovely Lipstick Foil and adhered to the sentiment label before popping it up on the card front with dimensionals. To finish the card, Share What You Love Artisan Pearls were added to the centres of both the Foil flowers and the embossed ones in the Lace panel.
On the Whisper White insert a sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthdays was stamped with Lovely Lipstick ink. The same ink was used to stamp a flower from the Forever Lovely set, stamping off first for a paler shade. Leaves from the set were added with Pear Pizzazz ink.
Thanks for stopping by.
