Mother’s Day in the UK this year, falls on Sunday 31 March, so I figured it’s time to start creating a few Mother’s Day cards ready.
I just recently succumbed and got the Tea Together set and (by adding a few extra items to my basket), I also for the Tea Time framelits for free during Sale-a-bration. Perfect for this project.
The colour combo used is Grapefruit Grove, So Saffron and Very Vanilla.
The card base is an A6 portrait of Grapefruit Grove. A card front layer of Very Vanilla was stamped with the Mother’s Day sentiment from Tea Together, using Grapefruit Grove ink. This stamped layer was matted onto So Saffron card and then direct to the card front. Early Espresso ink was used to stamp the teapot and the teacup onto Share What You Love DSP and these were then die cut out with the Tea Time framelit dies and popped up on the card front with a mix of regular and mini dimensionals.
On the Very Vanilla insert, another sentiment and two fo the flower images from the Tea Together set were stamped with Grapefruit Grove ink.
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great weekend.
