My sweet husband stayed home from our morning walk on Valentine’s Day to make me a last minute Valentine’s card whilst I was missing.

Valentine’s Day crept up on him … again 😂

He apologised for the mix of colours, he realised afterwards that they did not match but I like the mix and they’re all from a similar palette.

The main colours used are Petal Pink, Lovely Lipstick and Very Vanilla.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Petal Pink matted with All My Love DSP. A Stitched Shape square was die cut from Very Vanilla card and stamped with a sentiment from the Incredible Like You stamp set using Lovely Lipstick ink. The same ink was used to stamp a mix of solid and outline hearts around the edges, stamping off first for a paler shade (he’s quite the pro don’t you think). Dimensionals were used to pop up the sentiment on the card front.

On the Very Vanilla insert, a sentiment from the Forever Lovely set was stamped with Lovely Lipstick ink. The same ink was used to stamp a mix of solid and outline hearts around the edges, again stamping off first for a paler shade.
