Did you know that we lose one set of colours and add a new set with each annual catalogue? These colours are called In Colors and help to keep us on trend with card making fashion. They also fill any “holes” in our colour families. When I send out the new catalogues to my customers (get yours now), I enclose a thank you card. I made this thank you, an In Color sampler card, to give customers a little preview of this year’s new colours.

I’ve also used the new Good Morning Magnolia bundle for the In Color sampler. As well as gorgeous magnolia flower images it also has beautiful scripty style sentiments.

Colour Combo

The colour combo uses all 5 new 2019-2021 In Colors; Pretty Peacock, Terracotta Tile, Seaside Spray, Rococo Rose and Purple Posy.

Instructions

Start with an A6 portrait card base of Sahara Sand. On a card front layer of Whisper White, stamp the sentiment from Good Morning Magnolia down the right side. Stamp once each with Pretty Peacock, Terracotta Tile, Seaside Spray, and Rococo Rose inks. Use the hinge step technique on the Stamparatus to provide the right amount of spacing for this. (Or you can measure and mark pencil lines). Adhere a 1-3/4″ x 1″ piece each, of Pretty Peacock, Terracotta Tile, Seaside Spray, Rococo Rose and Purple Posy cardstock, down the left side of the layer. Adhere the layer direct to the card front. Use the large flower stamen die from the Magnolia Memory Dies to cut a flower from Purple Posy card. Adhere it direct below the stamped sentiments. Add a 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dot to the centre of the flower to finish.

On the Whisper White insert, stamp a sentiment from the Good Morning Magnolia set with Pretty Peacock ink. Use Seaside Spray ink to stamp the border from the same set at the base of the insert.
