Just 2 more sleeps to go, before the 2019-20 Annual Catalogue launches, so I think it’s time for another sneak peek. This Bird Ballad thank you uses the Bird Ballad suite again.
This sneak peek includes the Free as a Bird stamp set, Stitched Nested Labels dies (which you can get as a bundle with 10% off) and Bird Ballad DSP. We’ll be featuring this bundle in our June card class and the dies in our Nested Labels Technique Class.
The Stitched Nested Label dies perform two lots of “stitching”; 1 on the outside of the cut and 1 on the inside. This inlaid label design makes the most of both lots of stitching.
Colour Combo
This colour combo mixes Pool Party, Daffodil Delight and just a splash of Bermuda Bay.
Instructions
Start with an A6 portrait of Pool Party. Mat with a layer of Daffodil Delight. At the top of a card front layer of Pool Party, die cut away a Stitched Nested Label. Using Pool Party ink, stamp the leaves from the Free as a Bird set around the aperture. Adhere a large panel of Bird Ballad DSP below the stamped frame and then a skinny strip of Daffodil Delight card above it. Adhere the layers direct to the card front. Die cut a Stitched Nested Label of the same size as the aperture, from a scrap of Whisper White card. Using Bermuda Bay ink, stamp a sentiment from the Free as a Bird set. Stamp around the sentiment with flowers using Daffodil Delight ink. Adhere the stamped sentiment into the aperture.
On the Whisper White insert, stamp another sentiment from the Free as a Bird set using Bermuda Bay ink. Adhere a narrow strip of the Bird Ballad DSP at the base.
I’ll add shopping codes for this Bird Ballad thank you project once the products are available on 4 June.
Thanks for stopping by.
