To celebrate the launch of the new annual catalogue I’m offering a paper share. This is a chance to get a little of all the different papers that are new out. And to help you use that paper instead of just stroking it (you wouldn’t do that would you, lol), over the next 10 days I’m sharing a series of projects using paper. Here’s DSP share project 1.
Today’s project makes the most of the pattern of the paper with just ribbon and a simple topper. You can apply this layout to any DSP that you like too much to cover up.
Colour Combo
This colour combo takes from the colours of the Perennial Essence DSP and mixes Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink and Crushed Curry.
Instructions
Start with an A6 portrait card of Flirty Flamingo. Using Flirty Flamingo Ink, stamp the birthday sentiment from the Delightful Day set onto a (slightly less than) 2″ width strip of Whisper White card. Colour the stamped confetti with Crushed Curry ink. Punch the strip top and bottom with the Delightful Tag Topper. Thread Organdy Striped Ribbon through the tag and add dimensionals to the back of it. Wrap the ribbon around a card front layer of Perennial Essence DSP, securing it on the back and anchoring the tag on the front. Adhere the DSP direct to the card front. Tie another piece of the ribbon in a bow onto the first.
Using Flirty Flamingo ink, stamp a sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthdays in the centre of a Whisper White insert and leaves from the Delightful Day set across the base. Using Crushed Curry ink, stamp the flower heads from the Delightful Day set across the top of the leaves.
Thanks for stopping by.
