Today’s Mossy Sail Away card is ideal for anyone going through a bit of a rough patch. It uses one of the Memories & More cards for the background. The cards in those packs are brilliant for scrapbooking and memory keeping, but they’re also fantastic for creating cards with. There are two different sizes so you can use the larger size to fill a card front as here, or use the smaller ones as a focal point.
We’ll be using the Sailing Home bundle in our July card class if you’d like to join us and give it a test drive?
Colour Combo
This colour combo mixes Mossy Meadow, Soft Suede and Whisper White.
Instructions
Start with an A6 landscape card of Mossy Meadow. Trim the edges of a card from the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack to fit the card front and adhere it direct. Using Mossy Meadow ink, stamp a sentiment from the Sailing Home set onto a scrap of Whisper White card and die cut out with the label from the Smooth Sailing dies. Pop this up in the centre of the printed label with dimensionals. Use the same die set to die cut two lots of seaweed from Mossy Meadow card and pop these up at either side of the label. Using Soft Suede ink, stamp the anchor, die cut out and pop up on dimensionals towards the top of the card.
On the Whisper White insert, use Soft Suede ink to stamp the small sailboat and the seagulls.
Thanks for stopping by.
