My crafting new year resolution (you may have seen already on my FB page) is to use all my DSP this year. I hoard all the pretty papers and then feel guilty when a new catalogue comes out and I want to buy more!

So I’m making a concerted effort this year and at the end of each month I’ll share with you how much I have left. And yes, I’m buying still more tomorrow when the January-June Mini Catalogue and the Sale-a-bration brochure launch! Lol. Expect plenty of projects using DSP this year!

Colour Combo

This colour combo mixes Rich Razzleberry with just a hint of Poppy Parade and a splash of Whisper White.

Instructions

Start with an A4 portrait card of Rich Razzleberry. Adhere a layer of Peaceful Poppies DSP direct to the card front. Using the Painted Labels set, die cut a large label from Rich Razzleberry card. Using Rich Razzleberry ink, stamp a sentiment from the Peaceful Moments set onto a scrap of Whisper White. Die cut it out with the smaller label from Painted Labels set, leaving a little extra negative space on the right. Adhere the stamped label direct to the Razzleberry one and then pop both up on the card front with dimensionals. Finish with a Frosted Flower Embellishment.

On the Whisper White insert, stamp another sentiment from the Peaceful Moments set using Rich Razzleberry ink. Add a strip of the leftover paper from the front of the card along the base of the insert.

The Painted Labels dies don’t just cut the label but they also emboss a very narrow frame around the edges of these two labels – very classy.
