This Beautiful Friendship thank you card in purples is a quick and easy make. It’s another card that combines some of the flowers from the Beautiful Friendship set, with a sentiment from the Abstract Impressions set.

This is a slightly softer version of a similar set of thank yous.

The stamp does the job of varying the intensity of the ink across the different petals, so that some are darker than others – you don’t need to apply any special inking technique.

Colour Combo

This colour combo mixes Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape andGranny Apple Green.

Instructions

Start with a small square card of Gorgeous Grape. On a card front layer of Whisper White, stamp the large flowerhead from the Beautiful Friendship in opposite corners, using Highland Heather ink. Stamp the trio and duo of leaves around the edges of the flowers using Granny Apple Green ink. The duo is stamped so close to the bottom edge of the layer that only a single leaf shows. Finish by adding a sentiment from the Abstract Impressions set in the centre using Gorgeous Grape ink. Adhere the stamped layer direct to the card front.

On the Whisper White insert, use Granny Apple Green ink to add the duo of leaves from the Beautiful Friendship set to the bottom right corner. Stamp the tall thin flowerhead above the leaves with Highland Heather ink.

This is another card that is quick and simple. Ideal for batch card making.
