This Label Meer Lovely card combines The Gang’s All Meer stamp set and the Label Me Lovely punch. It also uses additional items from many different suites in the January-June mini catalogue to pull the card together.
I carefully cut apart one of the sentiment stamps from The Gang’s All Meer (a Sale-a-bration freebie) to spread the words over the outside and the inside of the card. They can easily be reassembled on a block to use as originally intended.
Colour Combo
This colour combo mixes Petal Pink, Poppy Parade and Whisper White.
Instructions
Start with an A4 landscape card of Poppy Parade. Punch a Label Me Lovely label from Whisper White and add slots to either side (I used a Label Me Fancy punch to do this). Using Petal Pink ink, add the party hat from The Gang’s All Meer in the centre of the label. Mask the hat and stamp the meerkat head below, using Memento Black ink. Colour the image with the duo of Crumb Cake Blends and the Light Smoky Slate Blend. Using Poppy Parade ink, stamp the birthday sentiment on either side of the hat.
Die cut a circular swirl from Poppy Parade card using the Painted Label die. Adhere it (only put adhesive in the centre) direct to a card front layer of Best Dressed DSP. Thread Petal Pink Metallic-edge Ribbon through the stamped label, pop the label up on dimensionals over the swirl, thread the ribbon through the edges of the swirl and secure on the reverse of the DSP. Adhere the DSP direct to the card front. Use mini glue dots to add a matching bow to the ribbon and an Assorted Pompom to the party hat.
On the Whisper White insert, use Memento Black ink to stamp the remainder of sentiment and the single standing meerkat. Colour the meerkat with the duo of Crumb Cake Blends and ground it by adding a little Light Smoky Slate Blend below.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope you’re having a great weekend.
