Blossom Hearts Mother’s Day card

April 8, 2020

Today I’m sharing a Blossom Hearts Mother’s Day card. This uses the same layout as the one I shared on Monday but this one is an A6 size.

Of course you can easily switch the sentiment for a birthday or alternate occasion.

COLOUR COMBO

Colour combo mixing Real Red, Flirty Flamingo and Whisper White

This colour combo mixes Real Red, Flirty Flamingo and Whisper White with just a splash of Petal Pink and Old Olive.

INSTRUCTIONS

Blossom Hearts Mother's Day card

Start with an A6 portrait card of Flirty Flamingo. On a card front layer of Whisper White add panels of two different patterns of From My Heart Specialty DSP. Tie a Best Dressed Tassel onto some Petal Pink Metallic-edge Ribbon and then wrap it over the join in the papers and secure on the reverse of the card front layer. Adhere the card front layer direct to the front of the card.

Using Gray Granite ink stamp the blossom spray from the Forever Blossoms set onto Whisper White card. Colour the blossom sprays with Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive combo Blends and die cut out with the matching Cherry Blossoms die. Pop the blossoms up on the card front with dimensionals. Using Flirty Flamingo ink, stamp the sentiment from the Dressed to Impress set onto a scrap of Whisper White card and die cut out with the matching All Dressed Up dies. Pop the sentiment up on the card front with dimensionals. Finish with From My Heart Faceted Gems.

Blossom Hearts Mother's Day card insert

On the Whisper White insert, plenty of room is left for a personal message by simply adding a strip of the same design of From My Heart Specialty DSP used on the front.

Thanks for stopping by.
