Ornate Merlot Thank You

April 14, 2020

My Ornate Garden Suite arrived last week so I’ve had a lot of fun over the weekend creating samples with it. I decided to combine it with Woven Threads DSP to create this Ornate Merlot thank you card.

Ornate Merlot Thank You

The Ornate Garden Suite has two separate bundles of stamp set and dies (save 10% on each bundle) but I’ve mixed and matched from each bundle for this card.

INSTRUCTIONS

Ornate Merlot Thank You

Start with an A6 landscape card of Merry Merlot. Adhere a card front layer of Woven Threads DSP direct to the card front. Using Merry Merlot ink, stamp a sentiment from the Ornate Thanks set onto Very Vanilla card. Die cut out with the stitched rectangle from the Ornate Layers dies. Adhere the stamped label onto a larger fancy rectangle die cut from Merry Merlot card. Pop the layers up on the card front with dimensionals.

Ornate Merlot Thank You insert

On the Very Vanilla insert, use Merry Merlot ink to add a sentiment from the Ornate Thanks stamp set. Using the longer border die from the Ornate Layers, die cut a decorative border at each end of the insert.

Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip

The Ornate Layers dies have lots of teeny lacework specks that need pushing out. I recommend running the die back and forth a few times in the die cutting machine and then using the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip to push the pieces out cleanly.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
