This Ornate Daisy thank you card was one of the make and takes at our Paper Dolls Inspiration Meeting earlier this week. It was a virtual meeting of course, done through our Facebook group to maintain social distancing.

The daisies in the Ornate Garden Specialty DSP immediately made me think of our Daisy punches and I think that both the Daisy Delight and Daisy Lane stamp sets would work really well in combination with this suite.

Stampin’ Up! policy stops me from sending stamped images out as part of a kit, so my team will have used their own stamps to add whatever sentiment they prefer to the Stitched Rectangle panel.

COLOUR COMBO

This colour combo mixes Mint Macaron, Terracotta Tile and Whisper White.

INSTRUCTIONS

Start with an A6 portrait card of Mint Macaron. Adhere a wide panel of Ornate Garden Specialty DSP direct to the card front, closer to the left edge. Add a skinny strip of Terracotta Tile card alongside it. Using Tuxedo Black ink, stamp a sentiment from the Ornate Thanks set onto Whisper White card. Die cut out with the a Stitched Rectangle. Adhere this to a larger fancy rectangle die cut from Terracotta Tile card using the Ornate Layers dies. Pop the layers up on the card front with dimensionals. Take two of the large Daisy shapes punched from Whisper White card, shape the petals over a bone folder and adhere them together, offsetting the petals. Pop the daisy up on the card front with a dimensional. Finish the daisy with a Perennial Essence Floral Center.

On the Whisper White insert, add a narrow strip of the same DSP as used on the front and another skinny strip of Terracotta Tile card.
