Stamping Challenge 4

April 24, 2020

Stampin’ Up! (SU!) are working to keep everyone stamping by setting us a new challenge each week. This is stamping challenge 4.

Stamping Challenge 4

The challenge is to make a project using any of the colours pictured below. Use them all or just a few – it’s up to you.

COLOUR COMBO

This colour combo mixes Lovely Lipstick, Old Olive, Blushing Bride and Gorgeous Grape.

This is the card I made.

It lets the DSP do most of the work in mixing the colours and has only the tiniest hint of Gorgeous Grape, just as an accent.

Many of the products used in this project are retiring. They are still available at the time of writing but may sell out soon. I’ll really miss both the Forever Lovely stamp set and the Stitched Label dies. The Labels have been great as a focal point on DSP cards.

INSTRUCTIONS

Start with an A6 portrait card of Old Olive. Mat with Lovely Lipstick card* and then Best Dressed DSP*. Using Lovely Lipstick ink*, stamp a sentiment from the Forever Lovely set* on a Stitched Label* die cut from Whisper White card. Add little leaf sprays from the same set with Gorgeous Grape ink, in opposite corners. Die cut the teeny heart from Lovely Lipstick card using the Stitched Label die and adhere it direct, just below the sentiment. Pop the label up on the card front with dimensionals.

* retiring products – get them before they’re gone!

On the Whisper White insert, use Lovely Lipstick ink* to add flowers from the Forever Lovely set* across the base. Stamp the leaves from the same set, over the top, using Old Olive ink.

If you’d like to join in the SU! stamping challenge 4, then please include the hashtag #keepstamping to help us find all the projects.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
