Ornate Painted Label card

May 14, 2020

This Ornate Painted Label card was created to celebrate the birthday of one of my Paper Dolls team. It combines dies from several different sets against a background of the gorgeous retiring Best Dressed DSP (I will miss these papers).

The leafy embellishments are created with “throwaway” bits from one of the Ornate Borders dies. For more ideas on using the Ornate Border die set and the co-ordinating Ornate Thanks stamp set check out my Class To Go.

The card does use retiring products.

Retiring products are available until 2 June or while supplies last. Some products will sell out quickly. If a product picture is missing or the link (below the post) won’t work it is most likely because that item has sold out. Please don’t delay if there’s an item you still want.

INSTRUCTIONS

Ornate Painted Label card

Start with an A6 portrait card of Blackberry Bliss. Mat with Best Dressed DSP*. Using the Painted Labels set die cut the swirly circle from Blackberry Bliss card. Die cut a Stitched Circle from Whisper White card using the Stitched Shapes dies. Add a sentiment from the Peaceful Moments set to the white circle using Blackberry Bliss ink. Adhere the circles direct and then pop up on the card front with dimensionals. Use the Ornate Borders set to die cut leaves from Old Olive and flowers from Blackberry Bliss and Purple Posy card. Adhere these direct around the sentiment. Finish with Noble Peacock Rhinestones*.

Ornate Painted Label card insert

On the Whisper White insert, add a strip of the same design of Best Dressed DSP* as used for the front. Using Blackberry Bliss ink stamp another sentiment from the Peaceful Moments set.

Thanks for stopping by.
