This Magnolia hello card was my swap for our May Paper Dolls meeting recently. All the supplies needed are carrying over to the new catalogue so at least there shouldn’t be a problem with these selling out.
The card front this time is all about texture with just a small sentiment that doesn’t obscure too much of the design.
COLOUR COMBO
This colour combo mixes Petal Pink, Pool Party and Gray Granite.
I’ve used this colour combination before on this Blossom Mother’s Day card.
INSTRUCTIONS
Start with an A6 portrait card of Gray Granite. Mat with a card front layer of Petal Pink which is first run through the Magnolia 3D embossing folder. Using the Stitched So Sweetly set, die cut the second smallest petal label from Whisper White card and the curved cross label from Pool Party card. Wrap Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon around the Pool Party label before popping it up on the card front with dimensionals. Using Gray Granite ink stamp the sentiment and the small leaf from the Good Morning Magnolia set onto the white label and colour the leaf with Pool Party Blends. Pop the smaller label up on the larger one with dimensionals.
On the Whisper White sentiment, stamp the border and the small flower using Gray Granite ink. Colour the flower with Petal Pink and Pool Party Blends.
Thanks for stopping by.
