Stamping Challenge 7

May 18, 2020

Oops! I’ve missed a few – we’re on to stamping challenge 7 now. Stampin’ Up! (SU!) are working to keep everyone stamping by setting us a new challenge each week.

Stamping Challenge 7

The challenge this week, is to make a project using something from the retired list (aka Last Chance Products list). I opted for the a number of Peacock items, all retiring.

COLOUR COMBO

Colour combo mixing Blueberry Bushel, Old Olive and Whisper White.

This colour combo mixes Blueberry Bushel*, Old Olive and Whisper White.

This is the card I made.

Stamping Challenge 7

The card does use retiring products (after all, that’s what the challenge is lol). I have another card using the Noble Peacock suite here.

Retiring products are available until 2 June or while supplies last. Some products will sell out quickly. If a product picture is missing or the link (below the post) won’t work it is most likely because that item has sold out. Please don’t delay if there’s an item you still want.

INSTRUCTIONS

Stamping Challenge 7

Start with an A6 portrait card of Old Olive. Mat with Blueberry Bushel card*. Run a card front layer of Whisper White card through the Swirls & Curls embossing folder* before adhering direct to the card front. Using the Detailed Peacock set* die cut a peacock from Noble Peacock Foil* and adhere direct to the card front. Die cur a sentiment from Noble Peacock Foil* using the Well Written set and adhere direct. Finish with Noble Peacock Rhinestones*.

* retiring products – get them before they’re gone!

On the Whisper White insert, add a strip of the Noble Peacock Specialty DSP*.

The full size photos of the card don’t show the shimmer of the Noble Peacock Foil very well, so here’s a close up to give a better view.

Thanks for stopping by.
