This very simple masculine card uses the In Good Taste DSP. The paper pack is full of photographic images with visual textures, in mainly neutral shades.

This paper pack is larger than most of our sets, with 24 sheets: 2 each of 12 double-sided 12″ x 12″ designs. It’s going to be especially good for all manner of masculine projects though there are a few softer colours in there for the odd feminine card too.

I’ve recycled the card design from a Wood Textures masculine card that I made several years ago. The older version was a portrait layout with a vertical greeting but this horizontal greeting called for a landscape layout.

COLOUR COMBO

The colour combo mixes Smoky Slate, Basic Gray and Whisper White.

INSTRUCTIONS

Start with an A6 landscape card of Smoky Slate. Add double embossed lines, (1/8″ apart) by scoring on the reverse of the card front. I used the Simply Scored Scoring Tool to do this but you could just as easily use the Paper Trimmer (remember to use the scoring blade). Adhere a strip of In Good Taste DSP between the lines. Using Basic Gray ink, stamp a sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings above the top set of embossed lines.

On the Whisper White insert, repeat stamp another sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthdays, down the right hand edge, using Basic Gray ink and turning the stamp each time.
