This masked Floral Essence card is a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) from the new annual catalogue.

The card I cased is on page 18 and the catty version uses the Painted Poppies set. I decided to make a similar card using the Floral Essence set.

COLOUR COMBO

This colour combo mixes Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Old Olive.

INSTRUCTIONS

Start with an A6 portrait card Basic Black and mat with Gorgeous Grape card. Take a card front layer of Whisper White. Use Highland Heather ink to ink up the large anemone from the Floral Essence set and then use a sponge dauber to add Gorgeous Grape ink around the edges before stamping just above the centre of the layer. Mask the flower and stamp the slightly smaller anemone above it using both ink colours in the same way. Mask this flower and stamp another above it, rotating the stamp. Stamp another of the smaller flowers at the base of the layer. Using Memento Black ink, stamp the corresponding flower centres. Mask the flowers and stamp leaves from the set using Old Olive ink. Colour in the leaves with the duo of Old Olive Blends.

Add a skinny strip of Gorgeous Grape card at the left side of the stamped flowers. Add wider strips of Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather DSP to the left side of this (my patterns are retired but we now have updated DSP colour assortments). Adhere the layer direct to the card front. Using Memento Black ink, stamp a sentiment from Good Morning Magnolia onto a scrap of Whisper White card. Die cut out with an Ornate Frames shape. Adhere this direct to a larger Ornate Frames shape die cut from Basic Black card. Pop the sentiment up on the card front with dimensionals.

On the Whisper White insert, stamp the outline flower and a leaf from the Floral Essence set in the lower left corner using Tuxedo Black ink. Add a strip of Gorgeous Grape DSP to the right hand edge.
