This Forever Gold Old World card was my swap for our June Paper Dolls meeting recently.
It features the gorgeous Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper (my new favourite!).
This pack has 6 sheets: 3 each of 2 single-sided designs. Gold on one side, the paper is white on the other and so can be coloured to match any project (if you can bear to not use the gold!). Each sheet is 9-3/4″ x 10″, not the usual 12″ x 12″.
COLOUR COMBO
This colour combo mixes Early Espresso, Metallic Gold and Very Vanilla.
INSTRUCTIONS
Start with an A6 portrait card of Early Espresso. Run a card front layer of the same colour through the Old World Paper embossing folder and adhere direct to the card front. Adhere a Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper circle frame to the card front direct. Using Early Espresso ink, stamp the sentiment from the Forever Fern set onto Very Vanilla card. Die cut out with a Stitched Shapes die and pop up in the centre of the gold circle with dimensionals. Finish with Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.
On the Very Vanilla insert, stamp another sentiment from the Forever Fern set using Early Espresso ink. Run the bottom portion of the insert through the Old World Paper embossing folder and use the Paper Trimmer (or the Simply Scored tool) to emboss parallel lines immediately above.
I made several different versions of the same card using the other shaped frames in the Specialty Paper pack.
Thanks for stopping by.
