Forever Gold and Black

July 2, 2020

This Forever Gold and Black card adds a pop of gold to simple black and white. The papers add the pop of gold and the Forever Ferns set provides the stamping.

Forever Gold and Black

The gold fern is just one small element from the Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper.

I’ve used one of the large panels on this Forever Gold Mates card and I used the frames on this trio of Forever Gold Old World cards.

INSTRUCTIONS

Forever Gold and Black

Start with an A6 portrait card of Basic Black. Mat with Ornate Garden Specialty DSP.  Adhere the large fern leaf from the Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper, direct to the card front. Die cut a medium oval from Whisper White card using the Layering Ovals. Using Memento Black ink, stamp a sentiment and a leaf from the Forever Fern set onto the oval. Mat direct to a scalloped oval die cut from Basic Black card using the same Layering Oval dies. Pop the ovals up on the card front with dimensionals, covering the adhesive used to anchor the gold fern.

Forever Gold and Black inside

On the Whisper White insert, stamp a sentiment from the Forever Fern set using Memento Black ink. Add leaves down the right border using different leaves and stems from the Forever Fern set with Memento Black ink, stamping off the edge of the card.

Thanks for stopping by.
