Today’s Nothing’s Better than Cocktails is a cheery card to brighten a rainy day. It combines the Nothing’s Better Than bundle with the Playing with Patterns colours.

This bundle just called to me from the catalogue.

It has so many fun sentiments that you can mix with:

• cocktails
• cookies
• coffee; and/or
• chocolate

I think all of my friends have a hankering after at least one of those and quite a few are like me and could go for all four! 😂

COLOUR COMBO

The colour combo mixes Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana and Crushed Curry.

INSTRUCTIONS

Start with an A6 portrait card of Calypso Coral. Mat Playing with Patterns 6″ x 6″ DSP onto a card front layer of Coastal Cabana. Wrap the layers with Coastal Cabana Ribbon from the Playing with Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack before adhering them direct to the card front.  Die cut a Stitched So Sweetly label from Whisper White card. Using Coastal Cabana ink, stamp sentiments from the Nothing’s Better Than set at the top and bottom of the label. Die cut the “cocktails” sentiment from Rainbow Glimmer Paper and adhere between the two sentiments. Adhere the label direct to another, larger Stitched So Sweetly label, die cut from Calypso Coral card. Add Playing with Patterns Resin Dots to both sides of the labels before popping them up on the card front with dimensionals.

Using Stazon Black ink, stamp the cocktail glass from the Nothings Better Than set onto a scrap of Whisper White card. Stamp the drink, slice and umbrella over the top using Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry and Coastal Cabana inks. Die cut the glass out with the co-ordinating die from the Love You More Than set and pop it up on the card front with mini dimensionals. Finish by adding a bow of the Coastal Cabana Ribbon above the sentiment labels with mini glue dots.

On the Whisper White insert, stamp another sentiment from the Nothing’s Better Than set using Coastal Cabana ink. Using Stazon Black ink, stamp the cocktail glass from the same set in the corner of the insert. Stamp the drink, slice and umbrella over the top using Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry and Coastal Cabana inks.
