This Better Than Everything card was my swap for our July Paper Dolls meeting earlier this week.
I’ve already shared a bright cocktail card that I made using this Nothing’s Better Than bundle.
This time I added our new Foam Adhesive Sheet behind the sentiment so that it stands out more.
COLOUR COMBO
This colour combo mixes Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Whisper White.
INSTRUCTIONS
Start with an A6 landscape card of Early Espresso. From a card front layer of In Good Taste DSP, die cut an aperture using the Stitched Nested Label dies. From a slightly smaller card front layer of Crumb Cake, die cut a slightly smaller aperture using the same die set. Adhere these layers together direct and pop up on the card front with dimensionals. Add a large scrap of Early Espresso card to some Foam Adhesive Sheet and die cut a sentiment from it using the Love You More Than dies. Pop this up in the centre of the stacked apertures.
Using Early Espresso ink, stamp the outline cookie from the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set, three times. Stamp the solid cookie over the top of each outline one with Crumb Cake ink. Die cut each out with the matching die. Rotate the two lower cookies to hide the bite out and adhere all three direct to the lower right corner of the aperture. Using Early Espresso ink, stamp a sentiment from the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set onto a scrap of Whisper White. Die cut out with the smallest Stitched Nested Label die and adhere direct to the upper left corner of the aperture.
On the Whisper White insert, stamp another sentiment from the Nothing’s Better Than set using Early Espresso ink. Using the same ink, stamp the outline cookie from the same set in the corner of the insert. Stamp the solid cookie over the top using Crumb Cake ink.
I made several different versions of the same card using the Chocolate and Coffee sentiments and images from the same bundle. All three work especially well with this colour scheme.
Thanks for stopping by.
